Monitors vital signs critical to pet health, including temperature, heart, lung function, pulse, and oxygen saturation, facilitating early detection of health issues with added noise cancellation which helps to monitor accurately.

There's good reason why the pet shrinks back at the mention of the word clinic. Invasive methods include:

  • Rectal thermometers for accurate core temperature.
  • Catheter sensors for detailed heart/lung sounds.
  • Intra-arterial catheters measure pulse and blood pressure.
  • Arterial blood gas analysis for precise oxygen levels.

A Graphical User Interface shows the vitals on the intuitive hand-held device. The assistance tool guides pet owners through the examination process, ensuring accurate and reliable results.

Seamlessly connects with Veterinarians, allowing for remote interpretation and diagnosis of examination results.

Provides instant feedback to users, indicating correct placement and recording quality, enhancing the reliability of data acquisition.

FAQs

No, it is one device per household. You can monitor all of your pets' health with a single device, irrespective of species, breed and age. Simply create profiles for each of your pets on the VetInstant app, and during the monitoring process, select which pet you're measuring vitals for. The data will then be saved under their respective profiles, making it easy to access as and when required.

Yes, all your pet’s health data is encrypted and secure. We adhere to strict data protection standards, including European GDPR regulations. Your data will only be shared with the vet of your choice when you provide access. None of your information will be shared with any third parties.

The device’s accuracy is similar to human temperature thermometers. It has been tested on over 1,000 dogs at the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Veterinary Education and Research (RIVER) and has been found to give results with a variation in temperature of +/- 0.3°C. It is a monitoring device, not intended for emergencies and any diagnosis will only be provided by your vet.

The frequency of use for the Exam D device varies depending on your pet’s breed, age, and medical conditions. For healthy pets, we provide a table detailing the recommended frequency of use. If your pet is unwell, your vet can guide you on how often to use the device based on your pet's specific needs.

If an abnormality is detected, we recommend contacting your vet immediately for a professional assessment. The data collected by the Exam D will be invaluable for your vet in making a diagnosis. Additionally, the app will prompt you to answer questions about your pet’s routine and behaviour, which will assist the vet in providing a quicker treatment plan.
